Offshore Charter Booking Calendar

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and Offshore Charter

Self-catering accommodation in Scotland and England reopened in July.  The marinas also opened at the same time. This allows certain groups to charter our yachts.

The Covid-19 rules pertaining to people staying in self-catering facilities (such as yachts) are evolving so it is your responsibility to ensure you and your crew meet the relevant criteria (eg family group, social bubble etc).

It is not practical for RAFSA to organise the sanitization of our yachts between charters so we therefore ask crews to wipe down any hard surfaces with a mild bleach solution on departure.  Oncoming crews should undertake a similar cleaning routine as part of takeover.   Some anti-bacterial wipes and disinfectant sprays will be left on the yachts but it is suggested all crews bring their own.  A suggested departure and arrival cleaning routine will be supplied.

If you make a charter booking it is your responsibility to take whatever measures you feel appropriate in ensure the safety of you and your crew.  If your crew doesn’t meet the current criteria for sharing accommodation or you are unhappy with the sanitization routines you may cancel your charter and your money will be refunded.
