We compete in a wide range of races, inshore, offshore, regattas and coastal passage races.
An interest in competitive racing and a will to learn new skills!
Some yacht sailing experience is beneficial but all are welcome whether you’ve recently completed your Comp Crew or you are an old salty sea dog!
Dependent on the event we will ensure their is a mix of experience on the boat, so don’t worry if you’ve never raced before, we will teach you!

We carefully managed to experience and competency of the boat to ensure we are as safe as possible while introducing new racers to this amazing sport. If you don’t get selected straight away, please do not worry we will try our best to get you on the next appropriate event.
Cancellation Policy
Crew members who cancel within 72 hours of an event without sound reason for doing so (e.g. operational reasons) will be charged full race fees for the event and may not be selected for future RAFSA events.
